The Western Cape Education Department in partnership with Capitec Bank have launch the Teach Children To Save campaign at Rocklands Primary School on 25 July 2008.  Lesson on the importance of savings was presented by David Möller (Capitec Bank) and Serge Wyngaard(Operation Hope: Banking on Our Future). 

The event was also attended by the previous MEC for Education: Cameron Dugmore who highlighted the need for children to start saving from a young age.  Mr Dugmore also thank Capitec Bank for their support and efforts to bring this important message to our learners.
